When does the Fall semester begin?

The Fall 2021 semester begins Aug 16 and ends Jan 2. 

When can I enroll in a course?

Course enrollment for the Fall 2021 semester begins May 1 and ends Aug 15. 

Can I enroll in a course if I am an international student?

Yes, our courses are completely online.

How much does a course cost?

See the Course Catalog for cost details.

Can I enroll in more than one course?

Yes, you can enroll in as many courses as you like – just be aware of a course’s prerequisite. Also, if you enroll in more than one course, the expectation is that you complete them within the course start and end dates.

Which course should I start with?
We recommend taking our courses in the following order:
1. Unseen Realm 101
2. Unseen Realm 102
3. Contemporary Post-Modern Apologetics 201 (Old Testament)
4. Contemporary Post-Modern Apologetics 202 (New Testament)
Do you offer courses in other languages?

We offer Unseen Realm 101 and 102 in Spanish and Portuguese.

What accreditation is associated with AWKNG School of Theology?

I am interested in the in-person class, is childcare available?

Childcare is not available. We encourage you to find childcare or consider the online class.

How much workload can I expect in a course?

an On average, our students spend 3-5 hours a week on a course module, which includes completing assignment, watching a one-hour video lecture, and completing a quiz. The assignments and quizzes are not created to be difficult but exist to ensure you are learning the main ideas for each module and how to apply them. The emphasis of our courses is to expose you to ideas that you have never seen in Scripture or thought about, not giving you a ton of work to do. We do not want you to stress about the course!

How do I pay for a course?

You pay at the time you enroll in a course.

Can I purchase a course on behalf of someone else?

Yes. To do this, go through the usual course enrollment process. When you check out, under Important Information, select the box for Are you purchasing this course on behalf of someone else?

Who do I contact if I have issues with payment or billing?

Email [email protected] describing your issue. Please be sure to include the course name, description of the issue, transaction date, and payment amount.

How do I access my course after enrolling?

To access your course, sign into Brightspace using your username and password.

When can I start my course after enrolling?

Your course is available to you on the semester start date.

Will I have access to previous courses I took with AWKNG School of Theology?

If you previously took courses with AWKNG School of Theology and you enroll in another course, you will receive read-only access to your previous courses on the semester start date. This allows you to review the assignments and video lectures for that course. However, you cannot complete any quizzes.

What should I do if I cannot sign into Brightspace?

If you are using the correct username and password and cannot sign into Brightspace, try resetting your password using Forgot your password? on the Brightspace login page. Instructions on how to create a new password is emailed to you. If you do not receive that email within five minutes, check your junk/spam folders or try again.

What should I do if I am experiencing other Brightspace technical difficulties?

If you experience other technical difficulties with Brightspace (e.g., completing a quiz), access the Brightspace Help Desk.

How do I download and install the ASOT Logos 9 Student Package

A Logos license is requested for you two weeks before the course starts. When Logos processes the request, they email you installation instructions. If you do not receive that email, check your junk/spam folders. You can also follow these instructions if this is your first time installing the software. 

  1. Access this site and follow the instructions to reset your password.

Note: It is important to use the email address associated with your Logos, which is usually the email associates with your Brightspace account. If you have multiple accounts, contact Logos at 1-800-875-6467 or email them at [email protected] to combine them.

  1. Access this site and follow the instructions to install the Logos Bible Software.

Note: If you have a previous version of Logos, it may update automatically depending on how current it is. Try restarting your existing program to see if it finds any updates. If this does not happen, follow the installation link above. You do not need to uninstall the old version first.

Can I withdrawal from a course and get a refund?

You may withdrawal from a course and receive a refund up until the course drop date, which is the second Sunday after the semester start date. The course drop date for the Fall 2021 semester is Aug 29, 2021.

The table below outlines our refund policy.

If you withdraw from a course… Then you will receive…
On or before the semester start date a 100% refund of the course cost
Between the semester start date and the course drop date a 75% refund of the course cost
On or after the course drop date no refund
